1) Regional Election Commission shall appoint Polling Station Incharge from amongst the incumbent members. Any extra staff could be appointed as per the need.

2) Regional Election Commission shall take the responsibility to ensure the success of electoral processes as per the electoral rules and regulations

3) It shall prepare the ballot papers for the elections of members of Local Tibetan Assembly, Settlement Officer and members of Tibetan Freedom Movement.

4) It shall maintain a voters registration book permanently as per the appendix A

5) It shall deal with and take decision on the electoral disputes. If the decision taken by the Regional Election Commission is not agreeable, the matter be put up with the Election Commission. And, if the decision taken by the Election Commission is not agreeable, then the case be presented to the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission

6) It shall carry out the electoral processes as per the schedule announced
by the Election Commission. It cannot delay it excusing local holidays.
