Timeline and procedure for the submission of Application form by the Volunteer candidates

1. Volunteer Candidates shall apply for their volunteer candidacy and get the application form and supporters’ form from Regional EC
2. As per the annexure f & g, volunteer candidate and its supporter’s form must be filled up carefully alongwith signatures of 25 supporters and submit them to the Regional EC within the submission deadline.
3. Volunteer candidate from India, Nepal & Bhutan shall submit a security deposit of Rs. 15000 and outside India, Nepal & Bhutan shall submit US dollar $500 to the respective Regional ECs.
   a) If a volunteer candidate wins 40% of the share of total vote won collectively by all other candidates, his or her security deposit can be reclaimed even if he or she does not get elected. Those who didn’t win the 40% vote, cannot reclaim their security deposit.
   b) Election commission will relay the message of reimbursement through Regional EC. The security deposit which cannot be reimbursed will be deposited in the general fund account.
